Macaroni KID Southern PG County loves local fun, so we're going to spread some Halloween cheer in the community this year with Boo Bags.
We need your help!
Macaroni KID has an annual BOO Bag/Basket tradition. Halloween is right around the corner and it is my goal to find local sponsors to help execute this tradition. Local families in Southern PG County will receive 100 BOO Baskets. Each basket is filled with candy and Halloween goodies to bring smiles and Halloween cheer to the neighborhood children. Each family who receives a basket will be asked to pay it forward and make their own version of a Boo Basket and Boo their neighbor or a friend. This hopefully will start a BOO Basket chain reaction.

What are Boo Bags?
100 local families will get “boo'd” with a bag full of Halloween goodies, including materials from local businesses, on their doorstep. Our volunteers will deliver the Boo Bag but the fun doesn’t stop there. Those families who’ve been “boo’d” will print out the flyer we’ve created and continue to pay it forward to other families.
This event spreads lots of community fun and it will help spread your business throughout our community in a very fun way!
How will it benefit your business?
- Reach your TARGET AUDIENCE of local moms. The kids will be so excited about each item, and the moms will be curious about where it all came from.
- Your logo will appear on the flyer that accompanies each Boo Bag, bringing your business directly into at least 100 local homes. But we anticipate the Boo-ing will spread much further than these initial families, and they’ll be printing out the flyer with your logo too.
- Receive 4+ weeks of promotion – with approximately 4,000 emails sent over the course of promotion for your business
- We'll do all the work – and you’ll get the credit as one of our sponsors!
- We’re going to do an all-out boo bag blitz on social media in the community, and we’ll include your business
PLEASE NOTE: The Boo Bags will be delivered in mid-October, so any items you provide for the bags will need to be supplied no later than October 7th. Sponsorship opportunities are first-come, first-served.

Platinum Sponsor - 3 available, $250
- Large logo in the “2023 Macaroni Kid Boo Bags” article. (Sent in 4,000+ emails over the course of promotion!)
- Large logo on all marketing materials and Boo Bags Flyer (going to 100 families)
- Two dedicated social media posts ($80 value)
- Recognition in event social media posts
- Featured article about your business on the website and in weekly newsletters ($175 value)
- Option to include logoed swag in the bag
- Option to deliver up to 10 bags for photo opp (to share on social)
Basic Sponsor - 10 available, $100
- Large logo in the “2023 Macaroni Kid Boo Bags” article. (Sent in 4,000+ emails over the course of promotion!)
- Logo on Boo Bag Flyer (going to 100 families)
- Recognition in event social media posts
- Option to add a featured article about your business on the website and in weekly newsletters ($175 value)
- Option to include logoed swag in the bag
- Option to deliver up to 5 bags for photo opp (to share on social)
Sponsorship fees will go towards baskets, the goods in the baskets, time to fill, and the time to deliver. In addition to the sponsorship fee, you must also provide 100 promotional items. This could be anything from coupons, discounts, trinkets, candy, toys, etc. The point is for the families to see your item and to think of your business. Once your sponsorship fee is paid, you will be asked to provide your logo.
