Imagine a family outing where both kids and parents are actually having fun. No, you're not yelling at your kid to sit down and be quiet, but instead, you're singing, they're singing, and everyone is having a grand ole' time. About a week ago, this was me when I attended Bobby McKey's Dueling Piano Bar All Ages Family Show.

I was so excited when Bobby McKey's agreed to host my family for the day to experience their live show. Truth be told, I tried to get tickets previously, and they were completely sold out. On the day of the show, doors opened at 3:30 pm, and the show was from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Tickets included your assigned seating area, fountain drinks, and a buffet of kid food. More specifically, pizza, chicken tenders, macaroni & cheese, salad, fruit, chocolate chip cookies, and chocolatey brownies. The bar is open for parents and guests over 21 years old. Ooooh la la la!
When you first enter Bobby McKey's, you must check in with the hostess and be ushered to your assigned seats shortly after. While other guests are checked in, you are invited to help yourself to the buffet and write down your song requests. Piano napkins and pencils are provided, and when finished with your song request, you can take them up to the dueling pianos. Requests run the show, so each show will be somewhat different. We heard Disney theme songs, today's hits, and old-school tunes by my beloved Michael Jackson. I love Michael Jackson, so needless to say; I was dancing on tables. Ok, now that is not allowed, but I did get up and try out my moonwalk. Dancing is highly encouraged by your table or even on the stage when permitted. The event was organized, and food was replenished often. There were a few birthdays in the house, which the pianists did shout out. Shout-outs are an additional fee and along with the opportunity to have your name on the big-screen TV or neon lights. So fancy!
